Professor Kagan is an American historian at Yale University specializing in ancient Greece, notable for his four-volume history of the Peloponnesian War. His course “Introduction to Ancient Greek History” was recorded for Open Yale Courses in Fall 2007 and has become one of the most popular academic resources with hundreds of thousands viewers on YouTube channel of the Yale University.

 

Please join us on August 12th at 12:00 PM so we could all remember why this ancient battle is so important even today and how the experiences of ancient Greeks can be applied in contemporary world.
